Yes, it is possible.
In ACTY'S, you can easily move Activities and change Duration with various operation methods.
Move Activities
- When you select a Bar with the mouse, a move marker (●) appears, and you can move the Bar by clicking to select it, and then clicking again in the destination.
You can also select multiple Bars and move them at once.
- When “Move with Succeeding Bars” button on the Toolbar is set to ON, if you move the Earliest Start Bar you want to move, the subsequent activities (Succeeding Task Bars) connected by Constraints (relationships and restrictions between Tasks) will also move together.
By using Move with Succeeding Bars, you do not need to manually select multiple Bars, and you can easily adjust the schedule of continuous tasks.
What is Constraint?
It represents the execution order for Tasks and their dependencies (such as activity B can be started when activity A is finished, or activity B can be started when activity A is started, etc.). In ACTY'S, it is expressed as an arrow connecting Bars.
- You can move it by specifying the date from Bar Property window.
You can also use "Move" command to move it by specifying detailed conditions numerically.
Change Duration
- You can extend or shorten the Duration by moving the markers at the end of the Bar with the mouse.
- You can change the Duration by specifying the number of days from Bar Property window.
Changes made by mouse operation and changes made by specifying numerical values from Property window are linked, so regardless of which operation is performed, the changes are reflected in both.
